28/03/94, London: on our way to the Thames Barrier

We took the ferry back into the centre of London. A helpful American tourist took this photo: “I even got the old battleship in the background for you”. Unfortunately he didn’t realise Trev’s response of “You can’t talk about Joy like that!” was a joke. Bless.

30/05/94: Bourton-On-The-Water

No, Trev hadn’t done an ‘Alice’: it was the model village

20/08/94, Hughenden Park, High Wycombe: we took a stroll around Trev’s ‘old back yard’ as we prepared ourselves for a balloon flight in honour of Joy and Trev’s thirtieth birthdays

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s four Farts in a balloon! We took off from a field off the A41 near Waddesdon, Bucks and landed in another nearby after many “oohs”, “ahhs” and shouts of “We’re gonna die!”

28/01/95, Chester: Kev H (the future Mr Linda no less), and KG join the Farts on the Wall. We’d been visiting Manchester to celebrate Clive’s birthday.

On the way back we brought our Fartie charms to The Rollright Stones, Oxfordshire…

…and Broughton Castle of the same parish

02/07/95, St Catherine’s Hill, Twyford Down, Winchester

Clive to Joy: “don’t lie there on the grass too long or the kids will think you’re a bouncy castle”
He paid the price…

Hyde Abbey, Winchester: ever respectful of our surroundings we decided to draw attention to Trev’s bum

02/06/96, Wayland’s Smithy, Oxfordshire

Linda does a lolly in the car park at Uffington Castle

Joy and Trev made do with beers on the drive to Aldbourne

Bringing a touch of manliness to Aldbourne… in ladies hats.

10/08/96, Stratfield Saye, Berkshire

15/08/98, South Bank, London: Linda’s ‘Hen Do’. Trev & Clive were voluntary Hens. They didn’t wear ladies hats
